Webinar: Certification and poverty impacts: what we are learning from three baseline studies in Kenya, India and Indonesia (2015)

Research about early impacts of standards and certification is rare, as is research about what farmers gain in moving from adoption of basic sustainable practices to a higher level of sustainability performance. These three studies will help fill an important gap in the current literature.

In addition, all studies focus on regions that had been largely outside the reach of certification, where interventions are often driven by market players, with a goal of moving certification out of niche markets to play a more mainstream role in commodity markets.
